Mexican folk singer and songwriter Azul Barrientos returns to EPMA for an evocative performance of traditional and experimental sounds. Born in Mexico City, Azul embraces the mezcla of culture and history from which she comes and reflects that in her music. Azul has co-presented with international stars Lila Downs (USA/Mexico), Eugenia León (Mexico), and Susana Baca (Peru).

Meet and greet with Azul at the Museum Store after the live performance. Azul’s recently released album, Nuestro Corazón will be available for purchase.
